The woman has not released an album! That is the source of my frustration today. I can’t pre-order it, download it or rush over to the local music shop. Sure, I can download the single, or an acoustic version of the single (that’s being launched today, June 11th) from Island Records. That just won’t do. I want the whole album.

This is what she has to say about her rise to fame on the infamous www.myspace.com. “I toured the country a bunch (more) times, made a few more CDs which I sold out of (about 6000 copies in total), continued to work with Paul Fox. This June I decided to put some videos up on Youtube.com and called it my Virtual Summer Tour. My usual summer tours included lots of driving, crappy hotels and terribly high gas bills. The tour from my apartment in Hollywood seemed like a fun alternative. In the past 2 months those videos have been viewed 2.5 million times. I am the #1 Most Subscribed Musician on Youtube. (P.Diddy is #2…hehe)”

Her voice is haunting, yet strong, vulnerable and overwhelming. Her songs are original, she films herself continuously on a handy cam and the chick is hilarious judging from her bio on www.terranaomi.com.
