Brew Dog Electric India Pale Ale
I’m starting my beerblog with a good one, possibly one of the best beers I’ve tasted to so far. The Brewdog Electric India – a blend of an Indian Pale Ale and a Belgian Sauvin – is going to be hard to beat.
The company
They’re an interesting bunch. Everything about them is cool – from their logo, to slogans, to beer. Go read more here if you are so inclined.
Tasting notes
The smell alone will knock your socks off! You pop off the cap and know you’re gonna be thrilled.
It is a milky, bright orange coloured beer that does not greet you gently. Brewdog’s own tasting notes don’t lie – you do taste orange peel, honey and black pepper. Along with the super bitter aftertaste, it is not an easy drinking, every day beer. But who wants that anyway?
